Writing Reality Check: For New to Professional Writers

Mark Wayne Adams asks, “What can a writer expect to earn throughout a freelance or professional writing career – in the real world?” Superstar children’s book illustrator, author, former FAPA president, and savior of the galaxy, Mark Wayne Adams is our presenter for the Orlando FWA meeting on Wednesday, August 1st at 6:30pm at the University Club of Winter Park. Adams will discuss, 1) how to develop a side income with writing, 2) how to transition from part-time to full-time writer, and 3) how to maintain a professional career as a writer. Adams says, “Written content doesn’t instantaneously create money. The awareness of gross verses net profit is important for a successful writing career. By treating every word as income, writing will become a business.”

The meeting is free and open to the public. For more information contact Rik Feeney at: usabookcoach@gmail.com.
