Hospital Hijinks: A Patients Memoir (Rik’s new book!)

Hospital Hijinks

Hospital Hijinks

What’s so funny about dying?  By playing jokes and pranking the hospital staff I was able to minimize the suffering and depression when I almost died on three separate occasions. I have captured those moments in my new book, “Hospital Hijinks: A Patient’s Memoir,” which I wrote under my pen name Rick Mulligan.

For those of you who know me, or think you know me, this memoir will give you added insight to the wacky world inside my head. The book is available on Kindle for .99 cents right now (https://amzn.to/2Y9sMRg). I would greatly appreciate the honor of a review so I can get enough 5-star reviews for Amazon to take notice, plus I might be able to put cheese on my macaroni this month. Thank you all in advance. Cheers!

Start Your Memoir Now!

“Writing memoir can help you—and others— see events and people who have changed your life.” says Belea Keeney, author, editor, and speaker at the Wednesday, June 5th meeting of the Orlando FWA held at the University Club in Winter Park at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Keeney will use memory prompts and writing exercises to get you started on your memoir. Participants will learn: 1) how to mine your memory to recall near-forgotten events and incidents, 2) how to use writing exercises to help determine which stories you want to tell, and 3)  how to dig into key events in your life that affected your journey.

This meeting is free and open to the public. Contact Rik Feeney at usabookcoach@gmail.com or www.RickFeeney.com for more information.
