Rick Frishman, one of the leading book publicists in America for over 43 years is our guest speaker at the Orlando FWA meeting, Wednesday, November 6th at 6:30 pm at the University Club of Winter Park. Rick will present fascinating stories from past to present in the world of publishing, and what to expect in the future of publishing.

Rick works with many of the top book editors, literary agents, and publishers in America, including Simon and Schuster, Harper Collins and Random House. He is also co-author of 18 books including Guerrilla Publicity and Networking Magic.

Rick has worked with hundreds of bestselling authors such as Mitch Albom, Bill Moyers, Stephen King, Caroline Kennedy, Howard Stern, President Jimmy Carter, Sophia Loren, Smokey Robinson, Nelson DeMille, Barbara Bush, Jackie Collins, Arnold Palmer, Yogi Berra, Whoopi Goldberg, Vanessa Redgrave, Henry Kissinger, Bill Parcells, Walter Cronkite, Jack Canfield, Gov.Mario Cuomo, John Grisham, Salmon Rushdie, and Senator John Glenn.

Directions to Orlando FWA Meeting

The University Club of Winter Park, 841 N. Park Ave., Winter Park, FL 32789

From I-4 East or West, take the Lee Road exit and head East toward the Atlantic Ocean. Go over 17-92 (Orlando Ave.) where Lee Road will dead end at Webster Avenue. Make a left turn on to Webster. Follow Webster through a light at Denning, then another light at the railroad tracks, then you will come to a stop sign, actually stop, then before the next stop sign (which is Park Ave) you will turn left into the University Club. Go up the ramp to the side door, then keep going to your left inside to the library where we hold the meeting.
