Orlando FWA meeting – Wed., Nov 2nd – Paul D. Schad – Writing for Police and Crime Novels

Police and Crime Technical Advice for Literature

Paul D. Schad

Paul D. Schad

Law & Order, CSI, Miami Vice, NYPD Blue…they’re doing it WRONG! Learn from a veteran cop what law enforcement and the street is really like at the next Orlando FWA meeting held at the University Club of Winter Park on Wednesday, November 2nd at 6:30 pm. Paul D. Schad, a former NYPD police officer and Broward County Deputy Sheriff and Detective, as well as script advisor and actor on TV shows America’s Most Wanted and Burn Notice will show you; 1) the ten common errors seen every day in film and on TV, 2) the generalizations and cultures of different law enforcement assignments, and 3) what it’s like to be a rookie cop. Spend an hour with Paul Schad to learn a summary of law enforcement (and crime) realities to help you write better. The meeting is free and open to the public.
