 How to Write Killer Fiction

You can write a mystery novel. This interactive 1-day workshop will show you how. Open to the public.

Discover how you can write a mystery novel in this tax-deductible workshop from Vic DiGenti. The workshop is sponsored by The Florida Writers Foundation, Inc., a charitable organization in support of literacy.

If you’ve always wanted to write your own mystery but weren’t sure how to get started, here’s your chance. This introductory workshop combines hands-on writing exercises with easy-to-follow lessons to turn your idea into a compelling story.

Vic DiGenti, aka Parker Francis, is the author of the Quint Mitchell Mysteries, which include Matanzas Bay, a Book of the Year in FWA’s Royal Palm Literary Awards competition, and the recently released Bring Down the Furies.

When & Where: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., October 18, 2012, at the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary, 1501 International Parkway, Lake Mary, FL 32746. Lunch is provided.

Other details: Registration fee includes lunch. This workshop replaces the one originally scheduled for R.J. Ellory, who is unable to attend.
